About Oxford Commodities Limited

Oxford Commodities Limited (“OCL”) was incorporated as a private limited liability company in England & Wales in 2007 and is an associate trade member of the London Metal Exchange.

In support of its business operations OCL has entered into a co-operation arrangement with BGC Partners (“BGC”), a leading UK FCA regulated inter-dealer broker, under which OCL and BGC have agreed to work together to arrange and execute Islamic Finance and underlying commodity transactions on behalf of their clients. As part of this arrangement OCL is able to outsource certain administrative functions, including legal and compliance, to BGC. OCL has previously provided services for GFI Securities Limited (“GFI”) for Commodity Murabaha.

Trading Technology

In support of its trading services OCL currently offers its clients access to its internal electronic trading system and intends to launch a web based version of the platform to provide clients with direct market access and the ability to execute trades themselves.
